It was a great play, and it was the first time in my life I saw a cast perform something that was more than a sketch. I’m also really impressed with his work as a screenwriter. His short stories have appeared in an amazing number of anthologies, including The Best of the Philadelphia Fringe, and his novel, I Was Here, was published by New American Library in 2011.
Kamran Khan’s second play, A Girl Like You, is playing at the Philadelphia Fringe Festival this fall. It’s not a new play, rather it’s a reimagining of a real-world story from the 1960s. The play is set in an alternate reality in which the United States is now divided into four nations, but instead of fighting over resources for the nuclear bomb, we have to divide each other up into tribes.

The cast isn’t nearly as diverse as the version of our world we’re stuck in. Kamran Khan is a member of the American Civil War who joined the British Royal Army before escaping to the U.K. he went on to gain fame as a champion of the British Empire.
I still can’t get over the fact that the cast is such a diverse mix of people. There are a lot of people who are just a little off the wall with the way they dress, and a lot of people who are just plain insane.
If you’ve read my previous posts about my experiences as a developer of the Minecraft mod, you know I have a lot of questions with regards to how I’m doing on the site and what I need to do to build the game. I’m not going to talk about the mod itself, but rather the gameplay itself. I’m just going to say I have a few questions for you here, so be sure to read them as soon as you get them.

kamran is a developer of the Minecraft mod, and I know that you are a very good modder. You’re probably very good at what you do, and I just want you to give me a little insight into what Im doing.
Well, I am going to be the first to admit that I am not a modder. I make mods only for my own personal use. Some of the mods I make only add to the modding aspect, but I also add new features to Minecraft. The game itself is pretty good, but I am really digging the way you guys are making new and cool stuff on top of what I already have. I was wondering if you have any ideas I can give you.
